Privacy

Your data, stays yours.

Last updated: May 11, 2026

22 Hours is built with the principle that your data belongs to you. This policy explains what the app collects, how it's used, and your rights.

What we collect

22 Hours stores the following information you enter into the app:

Where your data lives

Your data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. When you're signed into iCloud, SwiftData mirrors that store into your own private iCloud database via CloudKit, so it's available on your other devices (e.g. iPhone and iPad).

None of your data is transmitted to us. We do not operate a server, we do not use analytics, and we do not have access to your information. Your iCloud copy lives in your own Apple account under their privacy terms; it never reaches Gazewing or any third party.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the app schedules local reminders on your device: when your aligners have been out too long, and around aligner switch days. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely by iOS, they do not reach our servers (we don't have any).

Third parties

22 Hours does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. The only services involved are those provided by Apple as part of iOS.

Data sharing

Your data is never shared with Gazewing or any third party. The only copy that leaves your device is the encrypted CloudKit mirror in your own iCloud account, which we cannot read. We can't share what we don't have.

Your rights

Because all data is on your device, you have full control:

Children

22 Hours is not directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is ever updated, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be communicated within the app.
